Trena J Myers, Artist
​
Trena was born and raised in the South, having been brought up in the military, she has traveled the world. Her family roots started in a small rural town in Keokuk, Iowa. She has been intrigued with art since a child where she created her first book at the age of 4 and was given her first camera at the age of 6.
Trena loves many forms of art and thinks creatively. She has designed advertisement, clothing line, greeting cards and various gifts. No job is too small.

Trena is a published author, with two different publishers to include Amazon and she has been a professional public speaker since 2004 where she traveled the US speaking to high school, college students and professionals.

Trena is a certified event planner and has a certificate in event design with over 20 years of experience in art design and sales. She has won Gwinnett Magazine's Best of for 3 years in a row.
​
Trena has created a non-profit organization from scratch, to include B2B advertisement designs and sales. She has over 15 years of career planning coaching with over 10000 clients and has guided individuals on budget, business planning designs.
She has won numerous awards for her photography and has had artwork selected by a national organization’s gift card design.
Trena has been heavily involved in Gwinnett County serving as Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute Advisory Board chair where she was a significant part of the redesign of the program and assisted with writing the curriculum. She was a vetted facilitator thru Gwinnett Tech. She has also served on other Gwinnett boards such as the Gwinnett Coalition and Great Days of Service. She has also contributed designs, event planning and volunteer hours with Rainbow Village, a transformational housing program for homeless families with children serving N. Metro Atlanta. Trena has an MBA in marketing and post-graduate work in Organizational Leadership from Colorado Tech University and doctorate-level training in Health Education and Promotion focusing on Program Design and Community Assessments.

She is an Emory University trained Health Coach. Trena provides health coaching sessions for individuals, groups and retreats. She is follows the NBHWC code of ethics
​
Trena's volunteer work is extensive. Her two most involved organizations are iamlov and Rare Strides. She has served as Vice President of iamlov.org Where she has served as a mentor, coach, teacher, marketing and webmaster. Trena has been volunteering with Rare Strides as their Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning.
She hopes that her view of life brings joy to you.
